Many times people ask me how the one can interpret the execution plan. What one really needs for the interpretation are the rules which are relatively simple. Of course one needs to know the specifics of some operations to be able to correctly interpret the execution plan.
In this presentation we’ll walk through the basic rules and most common operations and also discuss the possible ways how one can monitor the execution of SQL statement.
This session is prepared mainly for developers to help them in understanding the execution plans.
